A tiger, who was drinking water from the river, heard some strange noise from behind. It was a herd of elephants coming to the river to drink water. One of the elephants saw tigers as their enemy. So it was running towards the tiger.
“Hey, I am going to kill you,” said the elephant and kicked him. The tiger fell into the river. Luckily, the tiger knew how to swim and made it to the other side of the river.
The angry elephant saw the tiger was escaping. So it wanted to follow the tiger and kill it. The elephant also jumped into the water. But in the middle of the river, the elephant lost its balance and started drawing. It cried for help, and other elephants came to rescue the elephant.
On the banks of the river, the elephant lay flat, unconscious. After some time, he regained his consciousness.
“You have done a foolish thing by kicking that poor tiger. See, what happened to you because of your anger? Now listen to me, don’t go for unwanted tussle with anybody,” said one of the oldest elephants in the herd.
“I understand that I did a foolish thing, kicking that tiger into the river without any reason. Next time, I won’t bug anybody,” said the elephant.
From that day onwards, the elephant never attacked tigers.
