"Hey, baby, let's prepare for tomorrow's journey. It will be quite an adventure. Drink lots of water and get ready," said the camel mom to her baby.
The baby trotted excitedly beside her, his small hooves kicking up little puffs of golden sand. He had never been far from the shaded palm trees of their home, and the thought of exploring the vast world beyond filled him with wonder.
"Where are we going, Mom?" he asked, looking up with wide, curious eyes.
"To the Great Whispering Dunes," she replied with a gentle smile, pausing to nuzzle his soft head. "It is a long way, but you are strong, and your hump will carry the energy you need."
Together, mother and son walked to the nearby oasis. The cool, crystal-clear water reflected the orange hues of the setting sun. They drank deeply, storing up strength so they could stay hydrated while walking through the scorching desert under the unforgiving heat.
They had hundreds of miles ahead of them, but as the stars began to twinkle overhead, the little camel felt ready for whatever lay beyond the horizon.
