Tiger And The Hippo - A Friendly Splash

In the heart of the jungle, the big hippo was having a wonderful time. He loved his daily bath in the wide, muddy river. He would splash and roll, enjoying the cool water on his thick, gray skin.

Suddenly, SPLASH! A great big splash shook the water. The hippo looked up just in time to see a tiger who had fallen from a branch high above. The tiger was soaking wet and trying to climb out of the slippery mud, but he was stuck.

The hippo, who was very kind, paddled over to the tiger. "Don't you worry," he said in a gentle, rumbly voice. "I'll help you."

The hippo nudged his strong snout under the tiger's paws, giving him a gentle push. With a little wiggle and a final big shove, the tiger scrambled onto the bank, shaking the water from his striped fur.

"Thank you, Hipper," said the tiger, who had always thought hippos were just big and grumpy. "You're a very good friend."

The hippo just smiled, happy to have helped. He knew that even though they were different, they could still be friends in the big, wild jungle.
