Leo the Lion stood on the sandy shore, his paws trembling just a little bit. He wasn't scared of the deep blue water, and he wasn't scared of the giant, humming ship waiting at the dock. He was just so excited that his mane felt like it was buzzing!
For years, Leo had sat on his beach, looking at maps and dreaming of far-off places. He wanted to see the snowy mountains where the air felt like peppermint, the busy cities where the lights twinkled like fallen stars, and the jungles where the trees grew so tall they tickled the clouds.
"Tickets, please!" called the Captain.
Leo clutched his golden ticket. This wasn't just a boat ride; it was the start of his Great World Tour. He imagined making new friends—perhaps a penguin in a tuxedo or a kangaroo who loved to hop. He couldn't wait to learn how to say "hello" in ten different languages.
With a deep breath and a happy wag of his tail, Leo stepped onto the ramp. Creak, creak, creak. The ship’s horn let out a loud TOOT! and the journey began. Leo looked back at his beach one last time and smiled. The world was huge, and he was finally ready to see it all.
