What To Do With A Coconut

Cracking A Coconut Is Not An Easy Task!

Jacko, the bear was strolling, humming a happy tune, something went THUMP! A round, brown coconut dropped from a tall tree and landed right in front of his big paws. "Woah!" Jacko jumped back, his eyes wide with surprise. "That was close!"

He poked the strange, hairy ball with his nose. What could it be? Was it a rock? A funny, bumpy fruit? He had never seen anything like it before.

Just then, a mischievous little monkey named Mojo swung down from a branch, chattering with laughter. "Hey, Jacko! You're so lucky! You found a coconut!"

Jacko looked at the monkey, then back at the coconut. "It's a coconut? It doesn't look like an apple or a berry. What do I do with it?" he grumbled, giving it a gentle nudge.

"Give it here!" Mojo chirped, grabbing the coconut and scampering up a rocky cliff. "I'll show you!" He held the coconut high above his head, then WHOOSH! He threw it with all his might. It tumbled through the air and hit a big rock with a loud CRACK!

The coconut split into two perfect halves, revealing the white, juicy flesh inside.

"Now you can eat it!" Mojo called down, grinning.

Jacko carefully picked up a piece. He took a little nibble, and his eyes lit up! It was sweet and milky and absolutely delicious! He ate some, and then he happily carried the other half back up the cliff to share with his clever friend, Mojo.

Sitting together, the bear and the monkey enjoyed their tasty treat, sharing big smiles and the delicious coconut. It was the best snack they'd ever had!
