"Hey there! Why the long face?" chirped a bright blue bird, landing on a branch above a lonely tiger cub.
The cub sighed, looking down at his paws. "I'm sad because I don't have anyone to play with. My family just moved here, and I don't know anyone yet."
"Don't you worry," the bird tweeted warmly. "I’ll keep you company! And better yet, I’ll help you find some new friends."
To cheer him up, the bird tucked her wings and sang a beautiful, upbeat song. The music was so catchy that the cub couldn't help but wag his tail. Hearing the happy tune, the cub’s sadness began to melt away.
"Follow me!" the bird called out, fluttering toward a clearing.
Finding New Friends
The cub scrambled after her through the tall grass. When they reached a sunny meadow, he saw three other tiger cubs wrestling and playing tag. His eyes lit up.
"Now I’m really happy!" the cub cheered. The bird chirped a final happy note, watching her new friend run off to join the game.
