The Whispering Wind

Hey, I can hear a thunderstorm

Elara is a rabbit who can understand the whispers of the wind. The other rabbits of her warren, nestled in a cozy meadow beneath the ancient Oak, dismiss her tales of impending change as flights of fancy. They are content with their routine of foraging for clover and basking in the sun.

But the wind's whispers grow more urgent. It speaks of a great storm approaching, a deluge that will flood their burrows and wash away their beloved meadow. Elara tried to warn her family and friends, but they laugh at her, reminding her that storms had come and gone before. They call her "Elara the Alarmist" and tell her to stop worrying.

Desperate, Elara went out to the wise old owl who lives at the top of the Oak. The owl, a creature of the sky and the storms, confirms her fears. The wind has not been wrong. The storm is coming, and it will be unlike any they have ever known.

With the owl's guidance, Elara organized a meeting to convince her warren to prepare for the disaster.

"Please, my dear brothers and sisters, please listen to me. I have a unique gift of listening to the wind. I can hear a big storm is on its way. We need to act fast. Let's pack up and run to the mountain valley. There we will be safe," Ellara said.

Other animals listened to Ellara. "Yes, we will go to the mountain valley. But if the storm is not coming, you will be responsible, and we will punish you," the animals said.

"Agreed, I want all of you to be safe," Ellara said. All animals then ran to the mountain valley.

Soon, the wind began to blow, and a thunderstorm followed. It was a nasty thunderstorm that uprooted many trees in the forest, and flooded the rivers. The animals thanked Ellora for her alertness and readiness to save them from the thunderstorm. They rewarded Ellora with a bag full of fresh carrots. Ellora thanked God in the heavens for the talent God had given her.
