"Hey, Mr. Goat! You're in the danger zone! You must leave right now," whispered the clever little fox, creeping through the tall grass.
The goat took another slow, happy bite. "Why? Is there a problem?" he asked. He really didn't want to leave the sweet green grass he had just found.
"I’m warning you, it’s not safe here! Get out immediately!" the fox urged.
"Just let me finish what I'm eating, and then I'll leave," replied the stubborn goat, munching away happily.
Suddenly, the leaves above them rustled! Up in the treetop, the monkeys started shrieking loudly: "Tiger! Tiger!"
A giant shadow moved through the bushes. The goat gasped—and PLOP! He fainted right onto the grass from pure terror!
The fox held his breath, frozen like a statue.
Luckily, the big tiger didn't even notice the little goat lying in the grass. He gave a lazy yawn, stretched his mighty paws, and walked right past them on his way to the river for a cool, refreshing afternoon bath.
The fox let out a huge sigh of relief. It was time to wake up his friend and hurry back home!
