A tiger was sitting quietly by the riverside, watching the fish swim. He was hungry and wanted to catch a fish, so he waited patiently for just the right one.
Just then, a crocodile slowly emerged from the water.
"Hey, tiger, if you are here for fishing, sorry. This is a no fishing zone. Don't you dare touch any fish from this river," the crocodile growled. "I am the king here, and treat this as a strict warning," said the crocodile
"Who cares about a silly crocodile like you? I'm not afraid of anybody. I'm a tiger who cares nothing!" the tiger scoffed.
The crocodile then slipped silently back under the water. The tiger chuckled, thinking he had won. He immediately dived into the river to catch a fish.
"Hey! What's happening? Who's dragging my feet?" The tiger suddenly felt a strong pull dragging him down, deeper into the water. He struggled hard to swim back to the riverbanks, but he couldn't. The tiger realized, with a jolt of fear, that it was the same crocodile who had appeared earlier, pulling him under!
"Please, let me go!" the tiger pleaded, bubbles escaping his mouth. "I promise, I won't ever come here to fish again!" The crocodile, hearing the tiger's desperate plea, released him.
Gasping for air, the tiger scrambled out of the water and onto the bank. After that day, the tiger never even dared to come near that river again.
