The Tiger And The Cow Story

tiger and the cow story for children

The cow was munching on sweet grass when a strange visitor appeared. A tiger, with stripes like black lightning, emerged from the edge of the forest. The cow's ears perked up. The tiger wasn't roaring. Instead, he smiled a big, toothy grin.

"I have a wonderful surprise for you," the tiger rumbled in a low voice. "In the forest, there is a field of the most delicious, tender grass you have ever tasted. Come with me, and I will show you."

The cow looked at the tiger's eyes. They were not friendly like his smile; they were sharp and focused. The cow was smart, and she knew a tiger's promises were not to be trusted. He wasn't offering a snack; he was planning to make her one.

Thinking quickly, the cow put on a show. She began to cry, but not with sad tears. She let out a loud, booming "Moooooooooooo!" as if she were in terrible distress. Then, she cried again, even louder, "MOOOOOOOO! HEEELP!" Her cries echoed across the fields, reaching all the way to the farmhouse.

The tiger, shocked and frustrated, tried to hush her. But it was too late. The cow kept crying out with all her might. Soon, she heard the sound of dogs barking and the angry shouts of the villagers. The tiger's plan was ruined. He let out a snarl and, with a flick of his tail, disappeared back into the trees, defeated by a smart cow's clever trick. The villagers arrived to find her safe and sound, her loud cries having saved the day.
