The School Going Elephant

Teach me something good

One day, a baby elephant saw children going to school. “I want to study too,” the elephant decided. So, one night, he crept into the school.

The next morning, when the kids arrived at school, they saw the baby elephant. “I want to learn like you kids!” said the elephant. The kids laughed and quickly became friends with the baby elephant.

When their teacher came into the classroom, she was startled to see the elephant. “Oh my goodness! What is an elephant doing in my classroom?” she exclaimed.

The children explained, “He wants to learn with us, Miss!”

After a moment of shock, the teacher smiled and said, “Well, if the baby elephant wants to learn, then let’s make some room for him.”

The baby elephant was overjoyed and tried to sit at a desk, but his large body couldn’t fit. So, the kids brought him a giant cushion to sit on instead.

As the lessons began, the baby elephant tried to hold a pencil with his trunk, but it was too tricky. The kids giggled and helped him by giving him a big chalk to draw on the floor instead.

During math class, the baby elephant used his trunk to count and made a big mess with the numbers, but everyone had a good laugh. At lunchtime, he accidentally ate the teacher’s sandwich and tried to drink from the water fountain, creating a mini flood in the hallway.

Despite all the funny mishaps, the baby elephant learned a lot and even taught the children some jungle tricks, like how to trumpet loudly and do a fun trunk dance.

By the end of the day, the teacher realized that having the baby elephant in class was not so bad after all. “Learning should always be fun,” she said with a smile.

And so, the baby elephant became a regular student, bringing laughter and joy to the classroom every day. The kids and the elephant became the best of friends, proving that learning is even better when shared with friends, no matter how big or small.
