Why The Rainbow In The Sky?

hippo and the frog cartoon talking about rainbow in the sky
Wow, this such an amazing display in the skies!

One day, Humphrey the hippo and his friend Flicker the frog were out exploring. Suddenly, Humphrey’s big round eyes spotted something magical stretching across the sky.

“Look, Flicker! What’s that up there?” Humphrey asked excitedly.

Flicker looked up and saw the colors shining against the clouds. “Oh, that’s a rainbow!” he said with a big smile. “Isn’t it amazing? There’s a wonderful story behind it, too.”

Humphrey’s eyes grew even wider. “Ooh, tell me the story, Flicker! I’m so curious!”

Flicker nodded. “Alright! A long, long time ago, there was a great flood that covered all the land. But there was a wise man named Noah, and he built a big boat called an ark. Noah brought his family and lots of animals onto the ark to keep them safe. They floated on the water for many days while the rain poured down.”

Humphrey listened, wide-eyed. “Then what happened?”

“When the rain finally stopped and the water went down, everyone was able to get off the ark,” Flicker continued. “To show his love and care, God put a rainbow in the sky as a promise that he would never send such a big flood again. Now, whenever we see a rainbow, we remember that promise.”

Humphrey smiled. “Wow, that’s a beautiful story! God must be so kind to make such a promise.”

Flicker nodded happily. “Yes, he is! And every rainbow reminds us of that.”

The two friends watched the rainbow until it faded away, feeling happy and safe under the colorful sky.
