"Hey, little monkey! Where did you get that sweet sugarcane?" asked the elephant.

"Just a short walk from here! There's a big farm full of sugarcane planted by the local farmers," replied the monkey. "Do you want to try some?"

The monkey kindly shared a piece with his friend.

"Wow, thank you! This is delicious!" exclaimed the elephant, crunching down on the juicy treat. "I would love to have more. If you lead the way, we can enjoy a whole feast together!"

The monkey agreed and guided the elephant to the edge of the farm. But as soon as they arrived, the elephant lost his self-control. Forgetting to share or take just a little, he began grabbing and eating every stalk in sight!

Before long, the farmers noticed what was happening. Upset that their hard work was being destroyed, they ran toward the field shouting, waving sticks, and throwing small stones to scare the intruders away.

Terrified, the monkey and the elephant scrambled into the trees and quickly vanished into the safety of the forest.

Panting and out of breath, the elephant realized his mistake. His greed had not only ruined their feast, but it had also put both of them in danger.

Moral: Greed leads to trouble. Being patient and taking only what you need keeps everyone safe!
