The Mocking Monkey And The Good Hippo

A monkey was playing high up in a tree along the riverbank while a hippo was happily relaxing in the water below. Pointing down at the hippo, the cheeky monkey began to mock and body-shame him, laughing at his size. But mid-taunt, the monkey lost his balance and tumbled headfirst into the rushing river.

Instead of seeking revenge or letting the monkey splash helplessly, the hippo swam over without hesitation. Opening his massive jaws—not to swallow the little creature, but to offer a safe platform—he scooped the thrashing monkey out of the water and carried him safely back to the shore. Safe, wet, and deeply humbled, the monkey realized that real strength lies in kindness, not cruel jokes.
