The Missed Target

“Where could she have gone?” the tiger couldn’t believe he had missed his target. It was just a little rabbit, after all. He thought maybe the bird on the tree could give him a clue.

“Hey, bird, have you seen a brown rabbit running through here?” the tiger asked.

“No, I haven’t seen any rabbit or any other animal come this way,” she said.

The tiger grumbled and went back without his meal.

“Hey, rabbit, come out! Your hunter is gone now,” the bird tweeted.

The rabbit came out of a hole inside the tree, thanked the bird for her timely help, and went home happy.
