The hunter dog was running to find a hunt. Suddenly, a bunny came across in the meadows. "Please don't tag me!" squeaked the bunny.
The dog stopped and tilted his head. "Why shouldn't I tag you? My owner is waiting, and I want to win our game!"
The bunny smiled warmly. "Because I can share a wonderful secret that will make you happy forever and ever!"
The dog sat down, his tail wagging with curiosity. "A secret? What kind of secret?"
"The secret to a happy life is simple!" the bunny cheered. "Stop running around just to win a silly game. If you let me go, you'll gain a brand-new best friend, a guide to the absolute best nap spots in the meadow, and a buddy who will help you dig the giantest hole in the world!"
The dog looked back toward the edge of the field, where his owner was waving a chew toy and calling out. Winning the game sounded fun, but having a real best friend sounded even better.
The dog flopped his long ears and gave a soft bark. "Deal! Show me where the best nap spot is!"
The bunny giggled, and together, the two new best friends bounded off through the meadow to spend the whole afternoon digging the biggest, happiest hole the field had ever seen.
