"Can you help me?" asked the fox.
"What's wrong?" asked the bunny.
"I need something to eat. I'm so hungry, but I don't want to eat you," the fox groaned, holding his tummy.
The bunny thought for a moment. "I can give you some carrots. That’s all I have."
The fox made a face. "Yuck! I don't like carrots," he said.
"You'll love them! Just taste this one," the bunny insisted.
Whoosh! The bunny tossed a crunchy carrot through the air. The fox caught it and took a tiny, hesitant bite.
His eyes went wide. It wasn't yucky at all—it was crisp and sweet!
"Mmm, I need more!" said the fox.
From that day on, the fox never chased another animal again. He became a happy, carrot-loving vegan!
