One day, a lion spotted a rabbit. The rabbit was too busy eating a carrot and didn't notice the lion. The rabbit was so absorbed in eating the carrot. The curious lion waited there for the rabbit to finish the carrot.
"Hey, why are you not afraid of me?" the lion asked the rabbit.
Only then the rabbit was fully aware of the presence of the lion. The rabbit almost fainted with fear but didn't allow that fear to grip it down. So, the rabbit put a calm smile on its face.
"I was taught in the rabbit school that there is no need to fear a lion because a good lion won't do anything bad to small animals like me," said the rabbit.
The lion didn't want to look bad. So, the lion left the rabbit and went its way. The rabbit thanked God for allowing him to live another day.
