The bear farmer was worried about the missing carrots. Every day, he counted the carrots he harvested from his farm, and he found the number of carrots was not tallying the next day.
The bear farmer was sure that someone was stealing the carrots from the farm, but he had no clue who the culprit was. The bear was determined to catch the robber. So he was hiding behind a bush, waiting for the carrot robber. After a short while, he heard a sound. The bear saw a rabbit and caught him red-handed.
“Hey, why are you stealing carrots from my farm?” asked the angry bear farmer.
“I am hungry, but I can’t find food like other rabbits do because I am handicapped,” said the rabbit.
The bear felt sorry for the rabbit.
“Oh, you could have requested me instead of stealing the rabbit. I allow you to eat carrots from my farm, but never bring your friends here,” warned the bear.
“God bless you, my dear friend,” the rabbit thanked the bear.
