The Dispute

It was a fine afternoon. The croc was sleeping in the lake. Hearing a sound, the croc opened its eyes, and saw a hippo standing on the banks of the lake.

“Hey, who are you? This is our territory. If you are trying to live here, that’s not permitted. You will face the consequences if you stay here for some more time,” warned the aggressive croc.

“Hello brother. I won’t do any harm to you. Let’s live peacefully here,” the hippo suggested.

But the croc won’t listen to the hippo, and continues to warn the hippo to prevent him from entering the lake. But what did the hippo do?

Even after repeated warnings, the hippo entered the lake. That made the croc angry. The croc bit on the hippo’s leg. It didn’t make any impact on the hippo. But that made the hippo aggressive too. The hippo pushed the croc to the land. The croc had no power to resist the hippo’s strong push. Without any other option left, the croc fled the lake, leaving the lake for the hippos.
