The young deer found himself isolated in the middle of the snow. The rest of the deer herd had already left for another place to survive the harsh winter. The deer looked around. The whole land was covered by a thick blanket of snow. There was no vegetation left for eating.
What will the deer do now? He was trying desperately to find out the tracks of his herd. But the thick blanket of snow made the tracks disappear. The deer had no clue what to do now? Things are beyond its control. All he could imagine was starvation to death.
“Hey, why are you still here? Are you not going with the rest of the herd?” that question was from a bird flying in the sky.
“I lost track. I got distracted on the way. I don’t know what will happen to me. Can you please help me?” asked the deer.
“Ok, follow me! I will take you to the herd. I saw the herd on their way to the new place. They must not have gone far. Please beware that wolves are roaming around. So be alert,” said the bird.
The deer followed the bird flying in the sky. Luckily, there were no wolves on their way. After several hours of walking, the deer saw the herd from a distance. The deer herd was on its way to the new destination. The deer thanked the bird for helping him out. Otherwise, he would have fallen prey to the wolves. The deer joined the herd and continued to their new destination.
