Once upon a time, in a forest, a curious and playful bear cub named Benji stumbled upon a shiny, red apple that had just fallen from a tree. “Wow, this apple is so cute! I will eat it all by myself,” he thought, his mouth watering at the sight.
As Benji reached out to pick up the apple, he heard a tiny voice. “Hello, little bear,” the voice said. Startled, Benji looked around but saw no one. “Down here,” the voice said again. Benji looked down at the apple in his paw and realized it was the one speaking!
“I know you want to eat me all by yourself, but wouldn’t it be nicer to share me with your friends?”
Benji was surprised. “Why should I share you? I found you, and you look so delicious!”
The apple’s voice softened. “Your mom always tells you to share what you have with others, right? Sharing brings joy and creates bonds of friendship. Imagine how happy your friends would be if you shared me with them!”
Benji thought about this for a moment. He remembered his mother’s words about the importance of sharing and how good it felt when others shared with him. “You’re right, apple,” he said. “I should share you with my friends.”
With a newfound determination, Benji picked up the apple and went off to find his two best friends, Mia the rabbit and Timmy the squirrel. When he found them, he held up the apple and said, “Look what I found! The apple told me to share it with you.”
Mia and Timmy’s faces lit up with joy. “You are our dearest friend, Benji,” they said, their eyes sparkling with gratitude. “We will also share what we have with you.”
Mia hopped off and returned with a bunch of fresh, juicy berries. Timmy scurried away and came back with a handful of delicious nuts. They all sat together, sharing the apple, berries, and nuts, enjoying the tasty feast and each other’s company.
As they ate, Benji felt a deep happiness in his heart. “Now I know why I should share things with others,” he said to himself. “Sharing makes everyone happy and brings us closer together.”
From that day on, Benji, Mia, and Timmy always shared what they had with each other, making their friendship stronger and their adventures even more delightful. And so, in the heart of the forest, the bear cub learned the true joy of sharing, thanks to the wise little apple.
