Story Of A River Crossing

A cow lived on the banks of the river. It was a peaceful life for the cow; there was enough grass to eat, and a good meadow to roam around, free from predators. One day, the cow had a visitor, a bird from the other side of the river.

"You know, it's a beautiful land on the other side of the river. You'll get plenty of grass to eat, and there are so many good things there a cow could wish for," the bird said good things about that place if the cow crosses the river. The cow believed everything the bird had said.

I'm going there. Please guide me." Without thinking twice, the cow decided to cross the river.

So, the cow swam across the river accompanied by the bird. When the cow was in the middle of the river, she looked up to see the promised land. Just then, the cow noticed something flashing on the other side of the river. On a closer look, she saw a tiger. The cow turned and started swimming back. The tiger was also swimming just behind her. Somehow, the cow made it to land safely on the riverside. The tiger returned to his territory, because a tiger won't leave its territory.

Two things the cow learnt from trying to cross the river. One is that never believe a stranger. Second is that think twice before diving into something.
