Smokey And The Donkey

As usual, Smoky the Steam Engine was out on a journey all by himself. On the way, he saw a donkey. Upon seeing Smoky, the donkey brayed at the top of its lungs.

"Why are you crying? Am I that scary?" Smoky asked.

"I wasn't crying, I was just expressing my joy at seeing you!" the donkey replied.

Smoky was absolutely delighted to hear the donkey's reply. "Well then, let's not waste any time, let's go on a journey together!" Smoky said. The donkey quickly hopped on and sat on Smoky's back.

"Choo-choo... the train is leaving!" Smoky puffed out black smoke and chugged forward with a loud chuku-chuku sound.

Seeing the lush green fields, grand mountains, and flowing rivers along the way, the donkey cried out loud again in pure excitement. This time, Smoky wasn't scared at all, because he knew it was just his friend's way of showing happiness. All the other animals along the path watched in amazement as a steam engine and a donkey traveled together.

Singing songs and telling stories, they kept moving forward on their journey.
