Proud Lion Became Humble Again

Once upon a time, in a big forest, there lived a lion, proud of himself. The lion considered himself the strongest animal in the entire forest. The lion used to fight with other animals to prove its strength. Animals, small and big, were fed up with the lion’s arrogant behavior.

One day, on the way to its hunt, the lion saw a rhino. The rhino had a long horn on its head. The lion was seeing the rhino for the first time. “This is a good time to prove myself before this silly creature,” the lion thought. Then, the lion grabbed the rhino by its horn.

But then something terrible happened. A rhino never likes anybody touching its horn. If somebody touches its horn, the rhino will consider it as a provocation. The provoked rhino lifted the lion into the air and threw the lion away. The lion fell a few meters away. The lion looked around to see if any other animals saw its flight. Luckily, there was nobody.

After that incident, the lion stopped fighting with other animals. The lion realized that there were stronger animals than it.
