"Hey, what's wrong? You look so worried," a little monkey with a long, swishy tail called out. He was sitting in a tree, munching on a banana.
Below him, a giant elephant was rubbing and rubbing against a big, scratchy tree.
"Oh, it's terrible!" the elephant grumbled. "My whole body is so itchy, and this tree just isn't helping!"
The monkey giggled. "Don't you worry, my friend! My nails are very good for scratching. I can help you!"
"You can?" the elephant's eyes widened. "Oh, please do! I would be so thankful."
The monkey swung down from his branch and started scratching the elephant's big, wrinkly back with his tiny, sharp nails. It felt so good! The elephant sighed with happiness.
After a long, wonderful scratching session, the elephant looked at the monkey with a big smile. "You are my hero! My very own itch doctor!"
The monkey giggled with glee.
And from that day on, whenever the elephant felt a single little itch, he knew exactly who to go to. He would find his little monkey friend, and the monkey would happily scratch his back. Soon, all the animals in the forest started calling the monkey "The Itch Doctor," and the monkey was very proud of his special job!
