The Monkey Big Desert Dream

Monkey on the horse
Why you stopped?

The little monkey had spent his whole life under the thick, green canopy of the Great Forest. While the other monkeys were happy swinging from vines, he spent his days staring at the horizon. He dreamed of seeing the "Big Open"—a place he’d heard of where the trees ended and the sky touched the sand.

But there was a challenge: the monkey was a climber, not a traveler. Without branches to swing on, his small legs would never make it across the vast, rolling dunes of the desert.

Just when the monkey thought his dream was impossible, a kind horse wandered to the edge of the woods. The horse lived in the wide-open spaces and knew the desert paths by heart. "Climb up," the horse offered with a gentle nod. "The world is much too big to stay in the shade forever."

Into the Sunlight

With a leap and a cheer, the monkey scrambled onto the horse’s back. As they left the forest behind, the monkey gasped in wonder. For the first time, he didn't see leaves above him—he saw a limitless blue sky, giant cacti standing like statues, and a sparkling river winding through the canyon.

Because the horse was kind enough to share his strength, the monkey wasn't just a forest dweller anymore. He was an explorer. Together, they showed that no distance is too far when a friend helps you take the first step.
