The monkey followed a bright bird deep into the meadow, forgetting his mother’s warning about the big tiger. Suddenly, the grass rustled, and a massive, striped tiger appeared!
The monkey’s heart raced. He tried to run, but the tiger was much faster on the flat ground. Just as the tiger lunged, the monkey scrambled up a lone, ancient tree. Safe on a high branch, he looked down, expecting a roar.
Instead, the tiger let out a sad sigh. "I'm not here to catch you," the tiger grumbled. "I'm lost, and I thought you knew the way home."
The monkey realized the "bad tiger" was just a lonely traveler. "The jungle is that way," the monkey chirped, pointing to the trees. He guided the tiger home from the safety of the branches, turning a scary mistake into a brand-new friendship.
