The little rabbit was hopping around in the forest on a summer afternoon. A lion came that way and saw the rabbit. He found the rabbit so cute didn’t want to eat it. But he watched the rabbit playing around. The lion lay down and started sleeping.
As the lion slept, the little rabbit continued to play and explore the forest. He hopped from one bush to another and enjoyed the warmth of the sun. Suddenly, he heard a loud noise and looked up to see a group of hunters approaching.
The little rabbit was scared and didn’t know what to do. He saw the lion sleeping and thought of waking him up for help. He went to the lion and said, “Mr. Lion, wake up! Wake up! There are hunters coming. They will harm us.”
The lion opened his eyes and looked at the little rabbit. He saw the fear in the rabbit’s eyes and immediately got up. He roared loudly, scaring away the hunters.
The little rabbit was relieved and thanked the lion for saving his life. The lion smiled and said, “Don’t worry little one, I will always protect you.”
From that day on, the little rabbit and the lion became good friends. They spent many summer afternoons together, playing and exploring the forest. And whenever there was danger, the lion was always there to protect his little friend.
