Hippo And The Elephant

When the elephant came to drink water, the hippo was in the pond, hiding his big body underwater.

“Hey, hippo, what are you doing in the pond? Every time I see you, you are in the pond,” asked the curious elephant.

“It’s good you have asked. I have a big body that needs to be cooled from the sunlight. We hippos can’t bear the hot sun. So we are always seen in the water,” said the hippo.

“Then it’s ok. I thought you must be drinking all the water in the pond,” said the elephant jokingly. The hippo laughed.
