Once upon a time, a hippo named Harry loved to spend his days in a peaceful lake. One sunny day, Harry saw an unexpected guest—a crocodile named Carl. To Harry’s surprise, Carl wasn’t alone. There were many crocodiles in the lake!
“Hey, who gave you permission to come here? This is our home. You can find another place to live,” said Harry.
Carl the crocodile became angry and snapped back, “We took over this area. If you want it back, you’ll have to fight for it!”
Harry sighed, “I really want to avoid a fight, but since you insist, let’s settle this.”
A big fight erupted between Harry and Carl. They splashed and thrashed, turning the clear water of the lake all muddy. After a long struggle, Harry finally managed to throw Carl out of the water.
Panting, Harry asked, “Now, do you want to stay here or find another place to live?”
Carl, now very sorry, replied, “We are going. I’m sorry.”
The crocodiles moved to another area, and the hippos got their peaceful lake back. Harry and his friends celebrated by splashing in the now-clear waters, happy to have their home to themselves once again.
