Elephant And The Lion Cub

Elly, the elephant, was in the river to drink some water. There was also a lion family present on the riverside. Nobody noticed the rise in the water level. Soon, the river was flooding. The lion cub in the family fell into the river.

“Hey, someone, please save my child,” the mama lion cried loudly.

Something needed to be done quickly. Otherwise, the lion cub was heading towards a waterfall and would be gone forever.

Elly made a gentle move and took the lion cub on her trunk. She carefully put the lion cub on her back and walked to the shore. Elly handed over the lion cub to his mother.

“Thank you, dear Elly, for saving my child,” the mother lion was in tears.

“No problem, mama, I am happy I did a good thing today,” Elly said, and they became good friends forever.
