"I've been wondering about your long nose," the fox said, tilting his head. "Why is it so long?"
"You mean my trunk?" the elephant replied with a smile. "My trunk is my most prized possession. It’s a multipurpose tool!"
The fox trotted closer, his eyes wide with curiosity. "I see those nostrils at the end! What exactly do you use your trunk for?"
"An elephant’s trunk is very precious," the elephant explained proudly.
"I use it to breathe, of course. But I can also suck up water to take a drink
or spray it all over my back to stay cool. And when there is hard work to be
done, I use it to lift and carry heavy things—even giant wooden logs!"
"That is amazing!" said the fox. "I'm so glad you shared that with me, my friend. Thank you!"
