Captain Charlie the Crocodile was having a terrible Tuesday.
"Oh, fiddle-faddle!" he grumbled, wiping mud from his snout. For weeks, Charlie had been searching the muddy riverbanks for a place to call his own. His old spot was too crowded. He needed a big break!
Charlie paddled his strong, scaly tail and gave one last, deep push into the murky water. He decided to explore the narrow stream he'd always ignored.
As he glided around a bend, his large yellow eyes popped wide open.
"Holy snapping turtles!" he whispered.
He had found it. A true paradise!
