Once upon a time, in a green meadow, lived a gentle cow named Daisy. One sunny afternoon, while Daisy was munching on yummy grass, she saw a sleek, white cat named Miko strolling by.
"Hey, Miko!" mooed Daisy. "It's good to see you. Weren't you near the sparkling river yesterday?"
Miko stopped and puffed out his chest a little. "Oh, yes, Daisy," he said, flicking his tail. "And I'm so glad I saw you! Please, please, don't go near that river. It's full of big, scary crocodiles!"
Daisy blinked her big, kind eyes. "Crocodiles?" she asked. "Really? I've never, ever seen any crocodiles in our river."
Miko nodded seriously. "Ah, that's exactly it! They're super sneaky. They hide themselves very well and then... WHOOSH! They attack super fast!"
Daisy thought for a moment. She had lived by that river her whole life, and not once had she ever seen a crocodile. She knew Miko sometimes liked to tell tall tales. But she also knew it was always good to be polite and grateful.
So, Daisy gave a gentle nod and a warm smile. "Thank you for your warning, Miko," she said. "We'll be sure to be careful."
Miko purred, feeling very important, and strutted off. Daisy went back to her grazing, knowing that while Miko might exaggerate, it's always kind to listen and appreciate someone's effort, even if you know the truth. Sometimes, people just want to feel helpful!
The Moral of the Story: It's important to be kind and polite to others, even if you know they're not telling the whole truth. Sometimes, people just want to feel helpful, and it costs nothing to be gracious. Also, always think for yourself and don't believe everything you hear!
