The camel of a merchant wanted to get himself free because he was so fed up with his slavery. So, the camel decided to run away from the merchant. One night, the camel got an opportunity and ran away to freedom.
The runaway camel was roaming in the desert. The camel had no idea where it was, away from its natural surroundings.
After walking for a few hours, the runaway camel reached the forest area. A lion saw the camel from a distance.
“Hello friend, where are you going?” the lion asked. The lion was trying to trick the camel into the forest because he couldn’t run in the desert.
The camel narrated his sad story to the lion, telling him it was a runaway camel.
“What you did was right. Come with me. I am not like your cruel merchant master. I will take good care of you. Come to my home, where you feel at home,” said the lion, laughing inside.
“Thank you, sir. I am so happy to find a friend like you. A friend in need is a friend indeed,” said the camel.
The lion took the camel deep into the forest. The camel was fascinated by the beauty of the forest. But the camel was slowly missing its desert home. After walking for a while, they reached the lion’s place. There were several lions and lionesses.
“Look, what I brought you for our lunch?” the lion happily introduced the camel to his friends.
Only then did the camel realize that the lion was trapping him. With all his strength, the camel started to run towards the desert. The lion chased the camel. But the camel could reach the desert before the lion could overpower him.
Once the camel reached the desert, the lion couldn’t chase it. Because the sand dunes made it difficult for the lion to chase the camel. The lion stopped chasing the camel and returned to the forest.
The camel continued to run until it reached the tent, where the merchant was frantically looking for his missing came. Seeing the camel, the master was happy.
“Hey, where were you. We were looking for you everywhere,” said the master. The camel stood obediently for the master to load the merchandise for the next destination.
