Another Brave Dog

A little dog was walking when he saw a huge, enormous elephant!

The elephant was so big. He had giant, floppy ears and a super-long, wiggly trunk. The dog felt a little shiver run down his back. "Oh my," he thought. "I hope he doesn't step on me!"

The little dog was scared, but he took a deep breath.

"Woof! WOOF-WOOF!"

The dog barked his loudest, bravest bark.

That loud barking gave the big elephant a huge surprise! "Eek!" the elephant seemed to say as he jumped and quickly turned around.

The elephant started to run, pounding, pounding, pounding!

The brave little dog felt so much better! He puffed out his chest and shouted, "I'll chase you away!"

The little dog ran fast behind the giant elephant and chased him all the way out of the village. The little dog felt like the bravest dog in the whole world!
