The Lion's Pride

After great effort, the curious cat managed to get inside the zoo. It was entirely a different place for the curious cat. It walked around, enjoying the beautiful zoo. The cat saw different animals in the zoo. Finally, the cat reached the king of the jungle, the majestic lion.

The lion was taking rest after a heavy breakfast on fresh meat supplied by the zoo staff. The cat watched the lion with big curius eyes. It was the first time, the cat seeing a real lion. The curious wanted to interview the lion to learn how the life in the jungle was different from the zoo.

“Hey, Mr. Lion. Are you happy here in the zoo? Are you missing your jungle life?” asked the cat.

“Thanks for asking me, bro. Yes, I miss my life as a king of the jungle. Here, in the zoo, I get everything in time. But I miss hunting in the jungle, where I have to actively look for my food, sometimes a long chase after the animals. Big fights with elephants, everything that was adventurous in the jungle,” said the lion.

“If you get chance to run away from the zoo, will you go?” asked the cat.

“I won’t go. Because, I lost my pride. If I ever return to the jungle, my community will not accept me,” the lion said.
The lion’s reply shocked the cat.
