Welcome Newborns To Your Home

“I will be late but will come back. I am going to lay my eggs on the seashore,” said the tortoise to the fish who came to see her off.

The tortoise spent a few days on the seashore laying her eggs safely in a hole. Hundreds of other tortoises also were on the seashore with the same mission, to lay their eggs.

The tortoise returned to the sea after laying her eggs safely.

“How was your trip?” asked the fish.

“It was fine. I could lay my eggs safely away from the eyes of predators. Hopefully, all my eggs will be ok. I hope to see my newborns soon!” said the tortoise.

A few months passed. It was time for the tortoise’s kids’ homecoming. The tortoise was on the seaside. Her friend, the fish, was also waiting to watch that moment.

Soon, they saw hundreds and thousands of baby tortoises marching towards the sea. The tortoise saw her babies and welcomed them to their new home. She took them under the water accompanied by the fish. They had a great time with the newborns swimming around.
