Monkey And The Elephant

monkey and the elephant story
I am now big!

The little monkey, Miko, sat all alone, feeling very, very sad. His shoulders drooped, and his normally bright eyes looked down at his tiny paws. "No one wants to play with me," he mumbled. "They say I'm too small, and they always make fun of me."

Just then, a gentle giant of an elephant named Ellie ambled by. Ellie saw Miko looking so glum. "Why are you upset, little friend?" she asked in a kind, rumbling voice.

Miko sighed. "I'm upset because my friends won't play with me. They say I'm too small and they always mock me."

Ellie smiled, a warm, reassuring smile. "Don't you worry, Miko! I will make you big!"

Before Miko could even blink, Ellie carefully scooped him up with her long, strong trunk. Up, up, up went Miko, until he was sitting comfortably on Ellie's broad, wrinkled back.

"Now you are big!" trumpeted Ellie happily.

From high up on Ellie's back, Miko looked around. Wow! He could see everything! The trees looked like little bushes, and the other monkeys, who were usually so tall, now looked like tiny specks on the ground.

Just then, Miko's monkey friends scampered past. They stopped short, their eyes wide with surprise. They had never seen Miko so big before! He was towering over them, riding on the back of a giant elephant!

Miko waved down at them, a big smile spreading across his face. He felt so happy and so, so big!

What do you think Miko's friends did next?
