Trunkers wasn't just any elephant; he was a very polite and rather large elephant with an even larger appetite!
One sunny afternoon, Lily brought Trunkers a special treat: a ripe, yellow banana. "Here you go, Trunkers!" she chirped, holding it up for him. Trunkers, with his long, curious trunk, gently took the banana. GULP! It was gone in a flash!
Lily giggled. "Wow, that was fast!"
Trunkers blinked his big, kind eyes and let out a soft rumble. It sounded a little like a disappointed growl, but much softer. He then leaned his huge head closer to Lily, his trunk wiggling. Lily understood. He wanted more!
"More bananas?" she asked, her eyes wide. Trunkers nodded his massive head, his ears flapping slightly. He gently nudched her with his trunk, a clear message: "Please, oh please, bring more!"
Lily, realizing how hungry her enormous friend was, smiled. "Alright, Trunkers! I'll be right back with a whole bunch!" And off she skipped, eager to fill the belly of her gentle, banana-loving giant.
