The Night Hunter

Every night in the forest is eventful, predators go hunting. Deer, rabbits run for their life. Some gets caught, some spared.

This tiger with his magnificent stripes and silent paws, is waiting for his first prey. If he spots a prey, the tiger will silently walk towards the prey and catch it. Tonight, he sat very still, hidden behind a patch of tall ferns, waiting. He was hungry for his first yummy bite.

But, a wary rabbit, its nose twitching to the slightest scent, spotted the tiger's outline in the gloom. Its ears swiveled, its heart thumped a rapid rhythm against its ribs. The rabbit knew the danger and, with a sudden flurry of urgent thumps from its hind legs, alerted its friends. The message was clear: "Do not go that way! Danger lurks!"
