"Hey, what's wrong? You look so sad!" bubbled the little blue fish to the sad mother turtle.
"Oh, Fishy," sighed the turtle, her eyes a little watery. "I'm waiting for my little ones to come back. You know, I laid my eggs in the warm sand a few months ago, and they haven't returned to the sea yet. I'm so worried that some sneaky predators might have gobbled them all up."
"Now, now, don't think such gloomy thoughts!" chirped Fishy, wiggling his fins encouragingly. "My fishy senses tell me your children will be here soon. You just wait and see!"
Just then, a strange rustling sound came from the sandy shore. Fishy and Turtle looked up with wide eyes. And what did they see? Hundreds and hundreds of tiny baby turtles, no bigger than pebbles, wiggling and wobbling their way towards the sparkling water! Among them were the turtle mother's own precious babies, their tiny flippers paddling with determination. They scurried and scuttled until they reached their mother, nuzzling her gently.
"My babies! You're back!" cried the turtle mother, her sad face lighting up with the biggest smile. "Oh, I'm so happy to see you all! Let's have a grand celebration to welcome you home!"
And so, the turtle mother busied herself, gathering the juiciest seaweed snacks and the shiniest pebbles for her little ones. Fishy invited all his colorful friends, and soon the underwater world was filled with joyful bubbles and happy chirps as they celebrated the safe return of the baby turtles. They danced among the swaying coral and played hide-and-seek in the bubbly sea, happy to be together.
