The Crocodile And The Seagull

After a long flight, the exhausted seagull desperately needed to rest. Spotting what looked like a floating wooden log below, she landed with a gentle plop. She took a deep breath, thinking about what a wonderful day it had been and how successful her fishing trip had gone.

"Hey, watch out! You're sitting on a crocodile!" a frantic voice yelled from the sky. It was her friend, circling above in a panic.

She looked down, her heart instantly dropping into her stomach. Her resting spot wasn't a log at all—she was perched directly on the snout of a massive crocodile. Luckily, the reptilian giant was fast asleep, completely oblivious to her presence. Not daring to test her luck for another second, she spread her wings and flew away as fast as she could.
