He knew Bobo the Bunny had to cross this exact snowy path. So, the fox crossed his paws, curled his bushy tail to keep warm, and waited. And waited. He waited so long that icicles started to grow on his whiskers.
Suddenly, with a loud swoosh, the bunny zipped past on skis and was gone. All the fox could do was stand there and watch in admiration.
Suddenly, a tiny blue dot appeared over the hill. It grew bigger. It grew faster.
Swoosh!
Before Barnaby could even blink, a neon-pink blur zipped right past his nose. It was Bobo the Bunny, wearing tiny neon-green ski goggles, zooming down the mountain on professional racing skis!
Whoosh! Bang! Zoom!
Bobo didn't just ski past—he caught huge air off a snowbank, did a clumsy mid-air spin, and yelled, "Woohoo! Eat my snow dust, whiskers!" before vanishing into a cloud of sparkling powder.
The fox sat frozen in shock. His mouth hung wide open, and a gentle thud echoed as an icicle fell off his chin and hit the snow.
