It Was Not His Day, A Failed Honeycomb Mission

The bear was strolling around, and looking for something to eat spotted found the big honeycomb hanging from the tree. It was so tempting to the bear that he climbed all the way to the top of the tree. It was his first attempt to collect honey. He has seen how his father used to climb the tree and collect honey. So he was confident he could too collect honey. The bear climbed, and climbed, and with a great effort, reached the top of the tree. "Hooray, I made it," the bear shouted.

The honeybees living in the honeycomb saw the bear coming to destroy their colony. So they were alert. The moment the bear touched the honeycomb, the bees charged the bear aggressively, giving the bear a hard time. Poor guy lost balance and fell down from the tree. Lucky he was, the bear fell on thick grass, and escaped unhurt. He went home thinking that it was not his day.
