The Easy Proposal

The giraffe was a shy guy, but the monkey was a smart one. So the giraffe valued the monkey's friendship, because being with the monkey gave the giraffe a big sense of confidence.

One day, the giraffe came to see the monkey. What's the matter? Asked the monkey. "Hey, I am going to propose to my girlfriend. Will you come with me?" asked the giraffe.

"Why not? I will come with you," said the monkey, jumped, and grabbed the giraffe's neck. Both animals went to the mountain valley where the giraffe's girlfriend was grazing under the sun. The monkey plucked green leaves from the top of a high tree. The giraffe gave that to his girlfriend. She chewed the leaves, and her eyes were shining. The leaves were so tasty. She accepted the giraffe's proposal. The giraffe was happy and thanked the monkey for his help in making his proposal a grand success.
