Knock, Knock, Somebody Home?

The bear kept on knocking on the door. The bear wanted to make sure that nobody is at home before entering the house. If somebody comes out of the house, the bear will run away. Otherwise, the bear slowly opens the door, gets inside, and takes everything eatable.

A dog came running to the bear from the back of the house and started barking at the bear. The bear got angry at the dog.

“If you are not stopping your barking, I am going to throw you away,” said the bear.

But the dog kept on barking because that is what the dog is trained for, to bark at strangers.

People from neighboring houses came running and saw the bear. The bear had to leave the place empty-handed, cursing the barking dog.
