The bunnies were trembling with fear. A tiger had moved into their meadow, and now every hop felt like a risk. They had to be cautious with every step, constantly looking over their shoulders to ensure they didn't fall into the predator's path.
"What are we going to do about this tiger?" the bunnies whispered urgently. "How can we get him to leave our home?" They discussed it for hours, but they were too small to fight a tiger and too scared to trick him.
Finally, they decided to hire the local monkey. He was famous throughout the forest for his quick wit and his even quicker hands. The bunnies approached him, twitching their noses in distress.
"Don't you worry," the monkey said with a mischievous grin. "I have just the plan to make that tiger think this forest is haunted. But first, I need a head start."
The Plan in Motion The monkey didn't just climb any tree; he traveled to the far edge of the jungle where the palm trees grew. He picked the largest, hardest coconut he could find and carried it back, swinging through the canopy until he reached the big oak tree where the tiger was napping.
The tiger lay sprawled in the shade, dreaming of his next meal. There wasn't a coconut tree for miles, and that was exactly what the monkey wanted.
The monkey climbed to the very highest branch, took careful aim, and dropped the coconut.
The Big Surprise Thump! The heavy fruit landed right on the tiger's head. The tiger leaped up, snarling and baring his teeth. He spun in circles, looking for an attacker, but saw no one. He looked up into the oak tree, then looked at the coconut on the ground.
"A coconut?" the tiger growled, confused. "There are no coconut trees here! This place is strange... things fall from the sky for no reason at all!"
Deciding that a forest where heavy objects fell from the wrong trees was much too spooky for him, the tiger tucked his tail and trotted away to find a more "logical" place to live. The bunnies cheered, and the monkey just winked, already heading back to the palm grove for a snack.
