Barnaby the donkey didn't want to walk today, He didn't want to trot, He looked at his four furry hooves And said, "I'd rather not!"
He didn't want to chase the sheep, Or munch on meadow grass, Instead, he found a shiny car And wanted to go fast!
He adjusted both his long ears In the mirror with a grin, Then buckled up his seatbelt tight, Ready to begin!
With a hoof upon the pedal And a wiggle of his snout, He gave a happy "HEE-HAW!" As he turned the car about.
"Are we there yet?" laughed the donkey, As he steered around a tree, "This is way more fun than walking, Look how fast I go! Wheee!"
The chickens stared in wonder, The cows all cheered with might, To see a driving donkey— What a silly, funny sight!
